Tokyo, Apr 7: Japan's Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. said on Friday it planned to co-develop digital content with video game maker Square Enix Co. Ltd. and would brief on the deal at 0700 GMT.

Susumu Koike, executive vice president in charge of research and development at Matsushita, and Square Enix President Yoichi Wada will attend the press conference in Tokyo.

Matsushita said the agreement was for joint development of ''seamless digital content'', but it did not elaborate.
