Madonna London show tickets go on sale
LONDON, April 7 (Reuters) Tickets go on sale today for Madonna's two London shows in August as part of her worldwide ''Confessions Tour''.
The singer will play Wembley Arena on August 1 and 3, with prices ranging from 80 to 120 pounds.
Tickets for her July 30 appearance at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium will be available later this month.
The tour begins in Los Angeles on May 21 and as well as Britain will include performances across North America, Japan and Europe.
It will be the star's first series of concerts since her ''Re-Invention Tour'' in 2004 which was the most successful tour of any artist in that year, according to Billboard.
Madonna, who has enjoyed 12 number one singles in the UK, has already begun rehearsals in the United States with her troupe of musicians and dancers.
Jean Paul Gaultier will design costumes for the tour, which will be directed by long-time Madonna collaborator Jamie King and feature Stuart Price as musical director.
Other European tour dates include Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Duesseldorf, Hanover and Horsens in Denmark.
Madonna's most recent album, ''Confessions On A Dance Floor'', has been greeted with critical acclaim. Her latest single ''Sorry'' debuted at No 1 in the UK Top 10 singles charts in February.
