Four youths nabbed for murder of Excise officer's son

Ahmedabad, Apr 7 (UNI) With the arrest of four youth from Meghanigar locality here, the police today claimed they have solved the sensational murder case of Rishideep, son of excise officer R P Singh, within twenty-four hours.

Seventeen-year-old Rishideep's body was found abandoned in the old court compound yesterday morning. A clutch wire used to strangulate him was also found lying next to the body.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (Zone Four) P N Patel told reporters that they have confessed to the crime and robbery seems to be the main motive.

The accused had decamped with Rishideep's motorcycle, a wrist watch, gold chain, mobile and pair of rings, he added.

The arrested have been identified as Rajesh Parmar alias Jaggo (21), Brijesh Singh (19), Hasmukh Rawat (19) and Vijay Rathod.
