Driving away job blues: SVU contemplates credit-based system
Tirupati, Apr 7 (UNI) The Sri Venkateswara University (SVI) is contemplating introduction of a choice-based credit subject system in PG courses help students meet the challenges in the current job market scenario.
Under the new system, in each programme three system of courses will be offered with a core compulsory course and important papers given more credits, university authorities said here today.
The choice-based credit system will be implemented on semester pattern.
The number of credits were flexible and may vary from programme to programme. Students will have wide choice of courses with enhanced scope for learning thereby helping them enjoy better prospects in a competitive job market.
