Criminal shot dead in encounter

Morena, MP, Apr 7(UNI) Notorious criminal Mahesh Kachhi, who was wanted in several cases of murder, attempt to murder and loot, was shot dead in an encounter with the police at the railway crossing near Rithora police station of this district early today morning.

Mahesh Kachhi carried a reward of Rs 5,000. His accomplice escaped on a two-wheeler during the encounter, Police Inspector Dilip Yadav said.
