5-screen multiplex opened at Indore

Indore, Apr 7 (UNI) The state-of-the-art five screen multiplex opened here today making PVR Limited the largest cinema exhibitor in the country with a total of 62 screens.

The company plans to set up new multiplexes in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Ludhiana, Aurangabad and Latur, taking the screen count to over 250 in next three years, PVR Ltd Chairman-cum-Managing Director Ajay Kumar Bijli told reporters here after inaugurating the multiplex.

At present, he said, the company has its presence in six cities including Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Indore and Lucknow.

Mr Bijli claimed that PVR has introduced the concept of gold class cinema at Indore with an exclusive auditorium with 24 plush fully reclining seats with generous legroom.
