Visa International announces tie-up with MakeMyTrip.com

New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Visa International and MakeMyTrip.com today announced a tie-up, whereby Kingfisher Airlines tickets across any sector on the portal, could be paid for with a Visa credit card, with a 20 per cent cash back on a maximum of Rs 1000 per ticket.

The offer will be open from April 1 to June 20, 2006.

''Our endeavour in India is to extend benefits to our cardholders by offering them the best privileges and incentives to use their cards for everyday payment,'' Visa International Country Manager South Asia Santanu Mukherjee said.

He added, ''We believe electronic payment is an ideal tool for encouraging travel and tourism.'' MakeMyTrip.com reported sales of over Rs 100 crore in the fiscal ending March 2005. It plans to double its sales for the current year.
