UNLF cadre arrested in Manipur

Imphal, Apr 6: The Assam Rifles yesterday apprehended a cadre of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) here.

Meanwhile, family members of a person, who was killed by troops and police at Bishenpur on April 4, refused to claim the body.

Local organisations and family members alleged that Heman Naocha was picked up by the troops and later shot dead.

In a separate incident, the Manipuri Students Federation (MSF) has condemned the raid conducted on one of its branches by Assam Rifles and police on April 4.

Documents of the student body were also taken away by the troops the MSF said.

UNI
