TVS Apache launched in Guwahati

Guwahati, Apr 6 (UNI) Two-wheeler major TVS Motor Company today launched TVS Apache here to tap 30 per cent market share in the premium segment in the north east region.

Speaking on the occasion, TVS Motor's marketing manager Rabindra Chowhan said TVS Apache had an 150 cc engine with five speed stunner.

He added that TVS Apache had won two top awards for best design of the year by "BBC top gear" and best indigenous design of the year by "Overdrive".

TVS Apache engine was powered by 13.5 Brake Horse Power (BHP) and with the highest power to weight ratio in its class was designed to woo youngstars of the region, he said.

The new generation bike would be available in two versions with electric start and conventional kick start.

Ex-showroom price at Guwahati was Rs 52,490 and Rs 48,000 respectively, he added.
