Tendulkar arrives home, recovering well
New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Sachin Tendulkar is recovering well following a successful surgery on his right shoulder, BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah said today.
Tendulkar arrived home yesterday but his arrival was kept secret to avoid media glare.
''He (Tendulkar) was assessed prior to leaving London by the surgeon Andrew Wallace and he reports to be very happy with the batting maestro's progress to date. The sutures were removed from the surgical site on today and an initial management plan for recovery has been put in place,'' Shah said in a statement today.
Tendulkar will be assessed by Team physio John Gloster on April 16 for the implementation of the next phase of his rehabilitation programme, the statement added.
