Teachers to boycott spot valuation as talks with Govt fail
Hyderabad, Apr 6 (UNI) More than 3.5 lakh school teachers in Andhra Pradesh will boycott spot valuation of answer sheets of SSE examinations beginning April eight, as the talks with the Government today on their ten-point charter of demands failed.
Emerging out of the talks with Education Minister N Rajyalakshmi in the Chief Minister's chambers, Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organisation-Andhra Pradesh Steering Committee member B Mohan Reddy told reporters that the Government's response was ''lukewarm'' to their demands, including two notional increments to 1.52 lakh apprentice teachers.
