SC adjourns case on Idgah issue to July: Kumaraswamy
Bangalore, Apr 6 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today informed the State Assembly that the Supreme Court had adjourned to July, the case pertaining to the disputed Idgah Maidan in Hubli.
Making a statement in the House, he said he would convene an all-party meeting next month to arrive at an unanimous decision on the stand to be taken by the Government before the apex court.
The Chief Minister said the State had sought time from the apex court to find an amicable solution to the row over the disputed land, with the parties concerned agreeing to resolve the issue amicably on a suggestion from the Supreme Court.
