Refex Refrigerants launches slew of HFC based refrigerants

New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) Refex Refrigerants Ltd today launched its range of refrigerant management solutions - HFC (Hydro Flouro Carbons) based products.

Speaking on the occasion, Refex Refrigerants Ltd Managing Director Anil Jain said, ''CFCs' are ozone depleting products and are phased out in India within the year 2010, whereas HFC's are environment friendly with zero-ozone depleting properties''.

''With the automobile and refrigerator industry growing, the demand of our products are never ending,'' he said.

The company is also planning to set up a plant to manufacture HFC-based refrigerant gases in India itself by 2008.

Refex Refrigerants Ltd is a joint venture with Kaltech Engineering and Refrigeration Pvt Ltd.
