President Kalam lauds Team India for sealing series against England

New Delhi, Apr 6 (UNI) President APJ Abdul Kalam today congratulated Team India for winning the seven-match one-day series against England.

In a message to captain Rahul Dravid, Dr Kalam said, ''My heartiest congratulations on your team's victory in the one-day series.'' The President said the triumph was a result of the planning and homework put in by the squad and the team management.

Earlier today India sealed the series, winning their fourth successive match, with three more games to go.

With today's win, the hosts also broke the West Indian record of most victories while chasing, winning their 15th consecutive match batting second.
