Moderate quake shakes Bhuj
Bhuj, Apr 6 (UNI) A moderate intensity earthquake, measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale, was recorded in the Kutch region of Gujarat, the Indian Meteorological department said.
According to initial reports, walls of a few houses had collapsed in Jatawada village in Rapar taluka of Bhuj district following the earthquake.
The quake occurred at 1733 hrs, the Met office said and added that its epicentre lay in the Kutch region of the State.
