Medical students launch stir
Hyderabad, Apr 6 (UNI) Nearly 19,000 medical students today launched a state-wide agitation protesting against the government's decision to reserve seats in PG cources to in-service doctors.
The students alleged the government's decision denied meritorious students from getting admission into PG cources.
Students all over the state demonstrated in their colleges and burnt the effigies of the Vice Chancellor and Registrar of the Medical University.
They said as part of their agitation, house surgeons would boycott classes and junior doctors also would join the agitation.
