Heat wave prevails in West Rajasthan

Pune, Apr 6: Heat wave conditions prevailed in some parts of west Rajasthan while day tempratures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan and in some parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Kutch, Vidarbha, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu and remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. They were appreciably to markedly below normal in Meghalaya, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and were below normal in Assam.

They were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at a few places in West Bengal, Sikkim and at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarsnchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, Rayalseema, Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

Very light rain have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Nagaland Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, at many places in Assam, Meghalaya and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
