Hamas freezes previous Palestinian govt decisions
Ramallah (West Bank), Apr 6: The new Palestinian government led by Islamic militant group Hamas yesterday said it was freezing administrative appointments made by the previous, more moderate caretaker leadership.
The cabinet announcement, made after the first full meeting of Hamas ministers, underscored long-running tensions between the group and the Fatah faction which had dominated Palestinian politics until it was toppled in January 25 elections.
