CRPF's run for peace in Kashmir on April 9

Srinagar, Apr 6 (UNI) The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will organise 'Aman Ke Liye Daud (a run for peace)' here on its Valour Day on April nine.

The run will be held from Bakshi Stadium to Lake View Golf Course on the Nishat road here.

The CRPF has orgainsed a series of programmes on the Valour Day to pay homage to its personnel who laid down their lives while protecting the unity and integrity of the country.

Several school children, common people, mediapersons and leading political and social personalities of the Valley are expected to take part in the run.

The Force has organised a blood donation camp and a cultural evening on the occasion.

Rupa Ganguly, who shot into limelight after her role as Draupadi in famous epic serial Mahabharata, along with her troupe from Kolkata, will perform at the cultural programme.
