CPI leader Kanaran passes away
Kozhikode, Apr 6 (UNI) Veteran Communist Party of India leader and former legislator K T Kanaran died following prolonged illness at a private hospital here early today.
He was 75 and is survived by wife Janu, three sons and a daughter.
Kanaran, who served the party in various capacity, represented the Nadapuram constituency in the Kerala Assembly from 1980 to 1987.
The body was cremated at his residential complex at Mokeri in the district in the evening.
