China to sign deals for more than $4 bn US goods
Washington, Apr 6: Chinese companies will sign contracts in Los Angeles tomorrow to purchases more than 4 billion dollar worth of US electronics, autos, software and other goods, the Chinese government said today.
The signings, announced in a statement made available in Washington, come just a few weeks before Chinese President Hu Jintao meets with US President George W Bush at the White House. Concerns about Chinese barriers to US exports are expected to be high on the agenda for the April 20 meeting.
