C P I leader Kanaran dies

Kozhikode, Apr 6 (UNI) Veteran Communist Party of India leader and ex legislator K T Kanaran died of pro-longed illness at a private hospital here early today.

He was 75 and is survived by wife Janu three sons and a daughter.

Kanaran, who served the party in various capacity, represented Nadapuram constituency in the Kerala Assembly from 1980 to 1987.

The body was created at his residential complex at Mokeri in the district later in the evening.
