3 killed in TN mishap

Kancheepuram, Apr 6 (UNI) Three persons were killed and another badly injured when a truck hit a van parked on the East Coast Road, near here, in the early hours of today.

Police said the truck proceeding to Pondicherry hit the van killing on the spot one of its occupants Mohammed Imran Khan (22) and Anthony (47) who was on his way to Velankanni Shrine by walk.

Philomina, a woman pedestrian, who was also hit by the truck died en route to hospital while another victim Martin (30) had been admitted to a hospital in a serious condition.
