Mr Dhillon said the case was registered after investigations under sections 465, 468, 471 and 120-B of the IPC and various clauses of the Prevention of Corruption Act. He said the No Objection Cetrificate (NOC) was given by the ADC after receiving the feasibility report from the BPCL officals, the assistant town planner and the forest range officer.
The Bureau offical said the feasibility report and the issuance of the NOC prompted the investigations as the two petrol pumps were shown as having been located on urban land while in reality these were on rural land.
