Two killed as trucks collide

Chitradurga, Karnataka, Apr 5 (UNI) Two persons were killed when a mini-truck in which they were travelling collided with a speeding truck on National Highway-4, near here, today.

Deputy Superintendent of Police H Anjaneya told UNI here that the grapes-laden mini-truck was on its way to Bangalore from Sangli when the mishap occurred.

While one person was killed on the spot, another succumbed to injuries at the district hospital, he said.
