2 day JD-U national convention in Patna from Apr 11

Gorakhpur, Apr 5: The two-day national convention of the JD(U) will be held at the Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna from April 11.

Senior party leader Dinesh Shahi said here yesterday that widening the base of the party would feature among issues to be deliberated at the convetion, likely to be addressed by national JD(U) president George Fernandes, party parliamentary board chief Sharad Yadav and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar.

The election of new party president and members of the national executive will be held on the inaugural day of the convention, he added.
