Truck kills three-wheeler in HP

Bilaspur, Apr 5 (UNI) One person was killed and another seriously injured after a collision between a three-wheeler and a truck in Bilaspur town of Himachal Pradesh early today, police said.

The driver of a three-wheeler was killed and another seriously injured after a truck crashed into their vehicle at Nauni in the district.

Police said the accident occurred after the truck driver failed to negotiate a sharp curve and crashed into the three-wheeler.

The injured, identified as Madan Lal, was admitted to the district hospital at Bilaspur where the doctors described his condition stable and out of danger.

The dead has been identified as Budhi Ram who was a resident of Noa village of the district.

Police said a case has been registered and the truck driver, Nand All, has been arrested.
