Surendran Pillai named KC(J) candidate from Thiruvananthapuram

Kottayam, Apr 5 (UNI) Kerala Congress(Joseph) Vice-Chairman V Surendran Pillai will be the party candidate for the Thiruvananthapuram- West constituency instead of Mr Antony Raju.

A decision in this regard was taken by the party state committee which here today.

The meeting appealed to party workers to work for the victory of Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidates. No action of the party would be detrimental to the interest of the LDF, the meeting said.

Party Chairman P J Joseph presided over the meeting. Mr P C Thomas, MP, Mr Skariah Thomas, Dr K C Joseph, MLA, and other leaders also attended the meeting.
