SP MP, relative remand extended in BJP MLA murder case

Ghazipur, Apr 5 (UNI) The Chief Judicial Magistrate here today extended by 14 days, the judicial remand of a ruling Samajwadi Party MP and his relative in the November 29, 2005, BJP MLA Krishnanand Rai murder case.

CJM Pramod Kumar, while extending the remand of the two accused, SP MP Afzal Ansari and his relative Ejaz Ansari by 14 days, ordered the two be produced before the same court on April 18.

While the SP MP from Ghazipur was brought to the court from the district jail, his relative could not be produced owing to ill health.

The BJP MLA was killed on November 29, 2005 in the Bhanwarkol area of this district.
