Servant arrested for planning fake robbery in businessman's house
New Delhi, Apr 4 (UNI) The Delhi police today arrested the servant of a South Delhi businessman for trying to orchestrate a robbery in his house with the help of his friends.
Two of his accomplices were also arrested even as they were leaving the house in the Safdarjung area with the loot.
The person Raghu, employed with businessman Sunil Kamboj for the past 10 years carefully planned the robbery wherein he called four of his friends at the house in the absence of the businessman.
After handing them the money, Raghu asked his accomplices to handcuff him before fleeing in their four wheeler parked outside so that he could shout for help after they had gone to make it seem like a robbery.
However, his shouts for help came even as three of his accomplices were yet to leave the place with the result that the alerted neighbours managed to nab two of them, Akbar and Asjad, and hand them over to the police.
On being interrogated, the two spilled the beans of Raghu's complicity in the crime, leading to his arrest. The police also recovered two cartridges from Akbar and Asjad.
