'Pakistani Hindus have full religious freedom'
Mathura, Apr 5: Pakistani Hindus have full religious freedom and are not subject to any discrimination or atrocity.
A delegation of 150 Hindu citizens of the neighbouring country has claimed after its India visit since March 20 last month.
''Although we are in a minority in Pakistan, the government is providing us with various facilities,'' Mr Nandlal Sahitiya, the leader of the delegation said.
Nandlal claimed Hindus were comfortably living in Pakistan with several members of the community holding prominent positions in the government including police department and judiciary.
''There is no dearth of doctors and big traders within our community,'' he maintained.
However, he also observed that the Hindus had immense attachment towards India and the community members visited the country for important religious rituals such as last rites and social functions.
Meanwhile, Indian Railways had reserved three coaches for the Pakistani delegates visiting various places in the country. The group left the temple town of Mathura last night.
They will return to Pakistan on April 9 via Amritsar.
