Mobile 'Hutch' shop launched in rural Punjab

Chandigarh, Apr 5 (UNI) Hutch, India's leading pure play celluar service provider, today launched a mobile Hutch shop, a 'first of-its-kind' service initiative to provide online convenient customer service to rural Punjab subscribers at their doorstep.

The Mobile Hutch shop will be travelling to Derabassi, Zirakpur, Ropar Fatehgarh Sahib, Sirhind, Khanna, Samrala, Kurali and Kharar on a weekly basis.

Speaking about the mobile Hutch Shop, Hutchison Essar COO Arun Kapoor (Punjab) said that the Hutch shop is the next step for providing better services to the customers. The mobile shop enables Hutch subscribers to avail of its services even in remote inaccessible areas in Punjab, he added.

This innovative retailing concept will enable current and potential subscribers to walk into any of the mobile Hutch shops parked at key locations across Punjab, and buy new connections, get them activated instantly or get their queries answered.

The Mobile Hutch shop is a one-stop solution for all customer needs, complete with online connectivity to the billing systems through the GPRS/EDGE service, three executive counters for customer interaction and a Cheque Collection Box. The location of the Mobile Hutch Shop will be intimated to Hutch subscribers through SMS.

A Hutch subscriber can enjoy all services available at the mobile Hutch Shop which includes bill payment, activation of postpaid connections, sale of prepaid SIM cards and recharge coupons, service activation/deactivation, change of postpaid tariff plan, customer query resolution and information on and subscription of Value Added Services.
