K'taka HC Bench issue: Lawyers continue to boycott court

Hubli, Apr 5 (UNI) The court boycott by members of the Hubli Bar Association, demanding setting up of the circuit Bench of the Karnataka High Court at a place located between the twin city of Hubli and Dharwad, entered the third day today.

The members also resorted to rasta roko pressing their demand.

They also urged the state government not to start construction work of the circuit Bench at the Water and Land Management Institute, near Dharwad.

The members submitted a memorandum to former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party State President S Bangarappa, who was here to launch state wide agitation against the ''failures'' of the state government.
