Kasliwal moves HC for bail

Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) Abhisekh Kasliwal, son of Shree Ram mills owner and an accused in a rape and assualt case, today moved the Bombay High Court for a bail.

The bail plea has been listed for hearing before Justice V M Kanade on April 12.

In his plea, Kasliwal said he was falsely implicated in the case and that he had not committed any offence. It was a case of sexual intercourse with mutual consent, he claimed.

According to the plea, the applicant has been intensively interrogated by the police and the statement of complainant as well as witnesses already recorded. He had also undergone a lie detector and a brain mapping test.

Kasliwal has contended that since nothing remains for investigation, he should be ordered to be released on bail.

Kasliwal was arrested for allegedley raping a 52-year-old woman in the Shree Ram mills premises last month.
