Kabadi player commits suicide

Kolkata, Apr 5 (UNI) A kabadi player from West Bengal has committed suicide in Gughuia Kalitala village under Chakda police station.

She had won gold medals thrice in national level competitions.

Police said here today that Jhumur Das (22) has committed suicide last night after she came to know that her name was cancelled from the South Eastern Railway's recruitment panel.

She had recently appeared for a test in the SE railways, police added.
