Jammu, Apr 5 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government's Darbar (Civil Secretariat) and other offices will close on April 28 and move to Srinagar the next day where work will begin from May 8.
According to sources, Civil Secretariat and other offices observing five day week will close in Jammu on April 28, this year after the office hours and offices observing six day week will close on April 29 this year after the office hours in connection with the Darbar Move.
The offices will reopen at Srinagar on Monday on May 8 Government has issued an order to this effect, here today.
No leave will be admissible in combination continuation of move days except in very exceptional circumstances as admissible under rules.
The cases for grant of such leave should reach the General Administration Department by of April 15 duly recommended by their respective departments, on a case to case basis indicating therein the exceptional circumstances warranting the grant of such leave. No leave will be entertained after the date. Cases incomplete or not received in time will not be entertained.
