Indian Airlines, Army XI continue winning

Kolkata, Apr 5 (UNI) Indian Airlines, Army XI and Punjab Sind Bank registered facile victories in their respective Beighton Cup ties here today.

Indian Airlines scored three goals. Two field goals in the 16th and 25th minutes from Sameer Dad and Jalwinder Singh saw the team take a two love lead against CC&FC at halftime. In the 67th minute Dhanraj Pillai converted a Penalty Corner to seal the fate.

Army XI trounced Karnataka XI 6-0 with Cyprind Aind(10th min), Ellysar Lakra(15th min), Suresh Kumar(20th min and 55th Min), D Madhik (27th min) and Anil Kr Ekka(64th minute) hitting the board.

For Punjab Sind Bank Mandeep Singh and Rajinder Singh scored one each while CESC pulled one back through Edmond Kerketta.
