Display of machines to make gold jewels

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 5 (UNI) A live demonstration of the latest machinery used in making gold ornaments will be held from April 10 to 12 at the Small Industries Services Institute at Thrissur.

The demonstration would be organised by the institute in association with Jewellery Manufacturers' Association and Institute of Jewellery Technology India, Mumbai, an official release said here today.

The programme would include a workshop and live demonstration on latest indigenous machinery in investment casting, soldering, finishing and other machinery in ornament making and technology.

The demonstration would be from 0930 hrs to 1330 hrs.

The participation was restricted to 50 persons per day and the admission would be on first-cum-first served basis.
