Dhobis seek inclusion in SC list

Rajahmundry, Apr 5 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Rajaka (Dhobi) Abhivrudhi Samastha (APRAS) East Godavari District today demanded the inclusion of rajakas in the SC list as was being done in 19 states in the country.

Addressing presspersons, APRAS East Godavari District President Peta Ramakrishna and General Secretary D Srinivas Rao said the Congress had promised to include the community in the SC category in its election manifesto.

They would shortly hold meetings at Hyderabad and Kakinada to deliberate on the issue.
