Businessman shot dead in Gaya

Gaya, Apr 5 (UNI) A businessman was shot dead by unidentified criminals at Sherghati Bazar under Sherghati police station of this district today.

Police said three armed criminals fired at Kanhaiya Lal Gupta when he was sitting in his shop at Sherghati Bazar. He died on the spot.

District Police Superintendent along with other senior police officers rushed to the spot. A massive hunt has been launched to nab the criminals.

Meanwhile, local businessmen staged demonstartions and put up blockade on NH-2 after closing their establishments.
