BSNL rings more money in AP dist

Rajahmundry, Apr 5 (UNI) The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has earned Rs 132 crore in East Godavari District, General Manager R M M Krishna today said.

Addressing presspersons here, Mr Krishna said the revenues represented an increase of Rs four crore and the BSNL met its targets on various counts due to the dedication of team members.

BSNL had given 21,212 landline, 5,737 local and 216 STD, 269 PCOs, 4,794 WLL, 1,500 broadband and 1,500 mobile connections during the year.

The Cellone connections were expected to touch one lakh mark in two or three months, he added.

The BSNL official said customers could pay their telephone bill at e-seva centres from May first week. There was a waiting list for 250 broadband connections which would be cleared in a month or two.
