All India BSNL hockey from tomorrow

Ranchi, Apr 5 (UNI) Fourth All India BSNL hockey tournament will be held here on the astroturf from tomorrow.

Chief general manager of Jharkhand telecom circle D P Dey said a total of 15 mens' teams from different circles of the country would participate in the tourny to be played on round robin league basis.

The final is slated for April 11.

Participating teams are Karnatka, Maharashtra, Punjab (all pool A), Jharkhand, Tamilnadu, Gujrat, MTNL-Delhi (all pool B) Orissa, Rajasthan, U P (East Circle), Madhya Pradesh (all pool C) and Andhra Pradesh, NTR-New Delhi, Jammu Kashmir and West Bengal (all pool D) Five players of current Indian women hockey team belonging to Jharkhand, Samurai Tete, Shubhadra Chauhan, Anshuta Lakra, Sarita Lakra and Kanti Ba and some former players would be felicitated on the same day.
