AIDS-infected woman commits suicide

Rajkot, Apr 5 (UNI) Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)-infected woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to death at her mother's house here.

According to the police, deceased Ashiana, who was suffering from AIDS since the past few years, was unable to bear the grief of her husband Umarbhai's death, who had also died of the same disease some two-and-half years ago.

The deceased contracted the deadly virus from her husband after she married him. Even her four-year-old son Akram is believed to be suffering from AIDS, police added.
