1304 bangladeshis apprehended after crossing border
Kolkata, Apr 05 (UNI) The BSF, South Bengal Frontier, in special drives in the past three months have apprehended 1,304 Bangladeshis and 657 Indian nationals from different areas of the border on charges of various crimes and crossing over the Indo-Bangladesh international border illegally.
The troops also seized various goods and cattle heads worth Rs 16 crore from different areas of Indo Bangladesh border.
Acting on a tip-off, the troops on Monday in a raid at Raja Bari Bagan near the border of Ramnagar in Murshidabad district two persons and seized fake Indian currency of Rs.82,900.
