11 teachers suspended
Bhopal, Apr 5: Eleven teachers have been suspended in connection with mass copying by students in a government high school at Bihra in Satna district, official sources said today.
Students were found copying during middle school examinations when a surprise check was carried out by the District Education Officer on April first.
Jagdev Singh, Jaipal Singh, Lalita Singh, Ramanuj Tripathi, Vishnudatt Pandey, Niranjan Prasad Shukl, Bhai Lal Kol, Mahesh Singh, Kunjbihari Singh, Jailal Singh and Prabhakar Dwivedi were suspended on April 3.
The headquarters of the teachers will be at Rampur Baghelan during the period of suspension.
P Govt to hike employees DA by six per cent Bhopal, Apr 5 (UN) Madhya Pradesh government has approved hiking of employees' dearness allowance (DA) by six per cent, with effect from April 1, 2006. According to an official release here yesterday, DA has been raised from 59 per cent of the basic pay to 65 per cent.
The decision is also likely to benefit employees getting salary under the UGC, AICTE, work charge and contingency fund. Besides, pensioners who would also benefit from this.
