Wardrobe malfunctions were mere accidents: Patil
Mumbai, Apr 4 (UNI) The embarassing moments suffered by two models when their clothes slipped off while walking the ramp during the recent Lakme Fashion show here was a mere accident and there was no deliberate misconduct behind the incident, Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil told the Maharashtra Legislative Council today.
The incident has sparked off a controversy in the media with speculation that the they were more than mere ''accidents''. The issue had found its echo in the house and an inquiry had been instituted.
Mr Patil said primary inquiry by DCP Sanjay Aparanti indicates that the incidents were mere ''accidents''. Models have to change their clothes within 40 to 45 seconds and some times, the dress do not fit properly in a hurry.
