'Wardrobe malfunctions' issue to be discussed in Assembly

Mumbai, Apr 4: The issue of 'wardrobe malfunctions' at the recent Lakme fashion week figured in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the second day today.

The issue was raised by BJP member Sardar Tara Singh through an adjournment notice.

Speaker Babasaheb Kupekar, while rejecting the notice, said a calling attention notice on this issue has been accepted and the matter could be discussed during that time.

Mr Singh demanded that the incidents be probed and action taken against the organisers. He also sought action against members of the audience taking pictures of the incidents on their mobile phones and the news channels telecasting them repeatedly throughout the day, humiliating the models.
