Two hardcore UNLF cadres apprehended in Manipur

Imphal, Apr 4: Two hardcore cadres of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) were apprehended by 33rd Assam Rifles (AR) at Thoubal district of Manipur in the past 24 hours.

In another raid, Assam rifle also seized five trucks loaded with timber being transported illegally from the same district.

Meanwhile, the All Manipur Anti Drug Association, which had launched campaign against abuse of drugs and liquor, said it successfully closed down many illegal liquor shops and took action action against 46 people for drug abuse.
