TRS criticises AP CM's statement on Telangana
Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) general secretary Prakash today took strong objection to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's statement that there would not be any necessity for a separate Telangana.
Talking to media here, he said senior Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh have categorically stated that they have left the Telangana issue to the party high command.
He said in such a situation, it was unfortunate that Dr Reddy continued to give statements regarding Telangana.
Mr Prakash said Dr Reddy can aspire to rule the state for five years. ''But he is not supposed to give statements against Telangana and abide by the decision of their party high command,'' he added.
