Srinagar roundtable would be result oriented: Mufti

Jammu, Apr 4 (UNI) Appealing to all groups to participate in next round-table conference to be held in Srinagar former J and K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today said the second phases of talks would be fruitful and result oriented.

Addressing a public meeting at Vijaypur in Jammu, Peoples Democratic Party patron thanked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his concluding remarks on 'Autonomy' and 'Self-Rule'.

The issue will be discussed thoroughly in Srinagar, which surely would be fruitful and result-oriented, he added.

He appealed to Prime Minister, to initiate the opening of Suchetgarh- Sialkot rail route so that regional aspirations in terms of Jammu- centric CBM of the area are addressed too.

The Mufti said the change of guard in November last has only affected the change of the Chief Minister while the policies of the Government are same as being guided by a Common Minimum Programme.

He said let us continue to follow ethics of coalition in terms of CMP,and all of us should carry forward the policy of healing touch to those who have been worst sufferers during turmoil,and should work for balanced development of all the three regions of the state.
